About MagicBG

MagicBG is an independent, free, in-browser AI background remover. We built it for creators, sellers, students, and anyone who needs a clean transparent PNG without paying for a subscription or uploading their photos to a server.

Our mission

We believe powerful image tools should be free, fast, and private. Background removal used to be a paid skill or a paid API. With modern AI running directly in the browser, there's no reason for that anymore — and MagicBG exists to prove it.

How it works

When you upload an image, an AI segmentation model runs locally in your browser using WebAssembly and (where available) WebGPU. Your photos never leave your device. The result is a transparent PNG you can download instantly. We also publish original tutorials on our blog.

Who runs MagicBG
